I like to share my story from both an athlete’s as well as a medical professional’s point of view. I have my DVM (Doctor of Veterinary Medicine) as well as a DACVECC (“Diplomate” of the American College of Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care). On a daily basis, I both run as well as I use my clinical skills of diagnosing, making a treatment plan, executing the plan, evaluating the results, and re-adjusting the plan.

Only a few months after I had recovered from my IT band pain, I suffered a fractured tibial plateau during a horseback riding accident. This time, I really thought I was never going to run again. I needed surgery and when I returned to André, I was in a wheelchair and had far more pain than I had ever previously experienced.

Again, André’s expertise was instrumental in my recovery. Despite the severity of my injury, he knew exactly what was required for my rehabilitation. He was always optimistic, reassuring and he had limitless patience- which is exactly what I needed. This recovery was considerably longer and more challenging.

I relied heavily on Andre’s skills in physical therapy to relieve pain, as well as his ability to manage my perspective throughout the recovery process. He was able to relieve my anxieties and coach me through the psychological aspects of healing that made it possible for me to endure the hardship of being trapped in a body that temporarily wouldn’t allow me to do the things that I wanted to do.

To this day, I remain incredibly grateful to have found André. His pivotal role in my recovery from injury has made him one of the most important health care providers in my life. He is an extraordinarily gifted professional whose talents and perseverance have made my return to a pain-free and active life possible.

Never before had I been treated by a medical professional who has demonstrated such genuine concern and seemed fully invested in my healing process. He is an accomplished physical therapist and injury coach who is capable of dramatically altering the course of the rehabilitation process and outcome for individuals who seek his help.

I have recommended him to numerous friends and family members. Everyone I know who has ever sought treatment has nothing but praise for his care and they remain truly impressed by his talents. André’s ability to help the body to heal from injury is nothing short of miraculous. After all, I am running pain-free again!
